About:Jiuzhaigou Travel

Jiuzhaigou on winter and some other questions

1. Is it also beautiful in winter? Is it foggy or slippery?
2. How important is my hotel location? Are there some particular places I should pick?
3. Are the taxis dodgy (do they usually try to scam you)?
4. After you get dropped on JZG from Chengdu by bus, is it still far away from the hotels?

1. It is very beautiful in winter. Sometimes it would be foggy or slippery.
2. Yes, if you choose a right place to stay, it will save you some time and be more convenient. Here I recommend the hotel that I have been stay in. Sheraton JZG Resort. It is 10-15min walking distance from the main entrance of the scenic area (Goukou).
3. Sometimes they would be. It depends.
4. Hey, bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station will take you to the scenic area directly (Tangkou). After getting off, you can directly walk to the Sheraton.
