You can walk from your hotel to People's Square bus stop to take bus no. 300 and get off at Binkang Road East. Then walk to Binkang Road metro station and get subway line 1 to Longxiangqiao. After getting off, you can see the West Lake.1

Thanks Steve. Another questions, how will I know if its Binakng Road stop already? Does it have an indication of bus stop in the bus or should I bring my map?0

The Chinese name of Binkang Road is 滨康路. Just get off at this bus stop and then you can easily walk to the subway station for a transfer.1
