About:Marriage Registration in China

marriage register in China

i have already registered marriage in Malaysia, do i need to register in China in order to get Residence Permit to stay with my husband in China?

It is no need to do so and you cannot do it in China. You need to have your marriage certificate authenticated in Chinese embassy in Malaysia and then it can be used in China for applying a resident permit.

thanks for the reply. can i have the marriage certificate authenticated in China instead when i travel there in Jan 2015?

You cannot authenicate your marriage certificate in China. It can only be done through a Chinese embassy in a foreigne country.
