About:China Visa Application in UK

Change Job within China

Hi.

my current employer cannot go on with my contract and they didn't get my residence permit it will expire on tuesday but they said they can get me a tourist L. lucky for me, someone offer me another job here in china but on the different city. anyone can tell me how can i get another z type and how much do i need to pay for tourist L.

The fee for applying a Tourist L is around 168RMB for a single entry one. Since your resident permit expires, too, you are suggested to apply a new Work Z with the help from the new employer.

You are suggested to ask your current employer to give you a release letter and then your new employer will use it to get you a new work permit and an invitation letter. After you get them, you can fly to HK to try to apply for a new work permit. Applying a new Work Z takes time, so you still need to apply a Tourist L first.
