About the transit and booking luggage of China Eastern Airlines from Busan, KR to Dhaka, BGD

I have purchased a ticket of China Eastern Airlines from a travel agent to visit Bangladesh from South Korea. They said, I will get two transits [SHANGHAI (PVG) and KUNMING (KMG)] in China and at KUNMING (KMG) I have to collect my luggage and re-boarding. Now, I have informed from my colleague that I have to collect my baggage and boarding in both the transit airports. Is it true for every flight of this route? How can I know the detail diagram of my trip? N.B: my colleague recently visited BGD by the same airlines.

If the ticket you get is for the whole trip, not one ticket number for one flight, the luggage should be passed forward directly. But seen from what your agent said the flight should be booked seperately. In this way, you need to collect the the luggage for both connection. You can also call the airlines directly to double confirm that.
