xiahe to jiuzhaigou

Question

My wife, a friend, and I are hoping to travel from xiahe to JZG. We all currently live in Gansu so we will be travelling from Lanzhou. Are there buses directly from xiahe to JZG or are there any particulars on the best way to travel there. Also are there any good hostels near JZG parks entrance? any advice would be greatly beneficial.Thanks

Hey, no direct bus from Xiahe to JZG. You’d first take bus from Xiahe to Lanzhou, and then transfer to a long-distance bus to JZG. Bus is available in Lanzhou Passenger Transport Centre or the West Bus Station. Bus from the former station runs in 7:30, and bus from the latter runs in 8:00. Just remind you that there is only one bus in each station, so you need to take your time to catch it.Hotels recommended in JZG: Snowy Paradise Hotel and Wanjiahao Hotel, both of them are located near the entrance of the scenic area.
