from the bund to the nearest subway station in Shanghai

i'm going to stay in the bund hotel which is 650 meters of people's square nearest exit is tehir any suggestion about how to reduce this alking distance

Well, the nearest metro station from your hotel is Dashijie Metro Station (subway line 8). The distance is only about 607 yards. This one is closer than People's Square Station.
The nearest metro station away from the Bund is East Nanjing Road Station.
