Have to be at the Kunming aiport at 13:00 - worth visiting?

I will be in KM only for some hours.

Landing at night I could find a hotel very close to the forest. Then early in the morning I could have a walk in the forest,
but I suppose at 11:00 max I will have to be in a taxi already. 2 hours to the airport and then catch my flight at 15:40.

Is it worth the hassle?
