According to the latest information I know, you need to apply for a Work Z for internship in the company. In this way, you need to prepare your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, your work permit, invitation letter from your company in Shanghai are needed for application.

You can consult the local embassy for confirming this, so that you can take the related documents to apply in the nearby CVASC.
