About:How do you get from Guangzhou airport to the city?

We will arrive in Guangzhou afternoon and we wanted to visit the city center for several hours.

My question is, what public transportation is available for us to take to go back to the airport at 1 or 2 or even 3 am? We know that the subway shuts down after 12am and we were wondering whether the airport shuttle works in the wee hours.

Yes, there are still airport shuttle buses that can take you to the airport, such as line 1, 2a, 2b, 5, 6a, and 7b.
