About:China Visa Application in UK

I am about to apply for a 3 month, single entry L visa.

I have an invitation and ID from the Chinese citizen I am going to be staying with, will I need to provide flight entry and exit details in addition to this?

Claire, you needn't provide round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation if you have the invitation letter. However, you may provide your travel itinerary though it isn't a must.

It is your travel plan, including the places you want to go, when you go, etc.
