Yes, Shang Tang, the founder of the Shang Dynasty defeated Xia Dynasty. This is the first important war. Afterwards, he defeated Ge, Kun Wu, Wei and Gu States. His successor Wu Ding also launched several wars against his neighboring states.

The Shang Dynasty ended when Wu took over. The Shang Dynasty lost and that began the Zhou Dynasty. King Zhou (a.k.a. Xia or Zhou Xia) lost the battle between himself and Wu. But Ken, we might be talking about different Wu's.
