About:Kunming Travel

Ski resort opens at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in late October?

How much is the cost of average hotel there? What is the busiest district in Kunming with many malls and eateries? Any recommended average hotels near that area? Thank you. I have 6 or 7 days in Lijiang and Shangri-la (excluding KM). What is the best arrangement?

Hotels there cost about CNY400 per night.
Nanping Pedestrian Street, Renmin Road are the busiest areas for shopping.
For eateries, you can go to Dianchi Road, Beijing Road, and Guanshang Middle Road.
Hotels recommended in Nanping Pedestrian Street:
1. Golden Eagle Summit Hotel KM: no. 168, Weiyuan Street, Qingnian Road.
2. New Era Hotel: no. 1, West Dongfeng Road.
You can arrange three days for Lijiang and another three days for Shangrila. In Lijiang, you can visit the Lijiang Old Town, Shuhe Ancient Ancient Town, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and Black Dragon Pool Park. For the three days in Shangrila, you can visit White Water Terraces, Bitahai Lake, and Songzanlin Monastery.

As your plan is a little long, I would suggest you join a tour and the travel agency would help you arrange most things. In this way, you can fully enjoy yourself.
