About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

3 month travel visa

Hi,

I'll be travelling for 3 months in SE Asia prior to 3 months travelling in China as a tourist. I would like to get a double entry permit. I won't be part of a tour group or have a letter of invitation from a Chinese resident. How would you recommend that I get the appropriate type to stay as I've described?

Thank you :)

You can provide your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, your round trip tickets, hotel booking and a detail travel plan as well as a bank statement as your tourism guarantee money. In this way, you may get a double entry type.

Sorry I should have been clearer , I'm going to be backpacking at hostels and haven't got an itinery or booked flights. The flight shouldn't be an issue but accommodation definitely will be. I was hoping to have the flexibility to move around as I choose.

What about if I want to go overland into China from Vietnam for initial entry then leave via plane from Beijing back to Australia. Thanks :)

Your travel plan can be flexibile and it can be changed after you get the Tourist L. You can submit one for application and then change it after you get it.

No matter what methods you use for enter and leaving China, the tickets are required for application based on the rules. If you cannot provide the tickets, you are suggested to consult the embassy for a solution.
