About:China Business Visa

Can you change an M -Visa to a work Z?

If you get a M type for six months and in the interim get offered a job in China, is it possible to apply for a work Z before the M type expires? And if its possible, do you have to apply out of China for the work Z then?

It is possible to apply for a Z type before your M expires. When applying, you are suggested to go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for consulting whether you can change it within China or not. Based on my information, it is almost impossible to get change it within China on your own. It may be possible if you do it through an agency in China.
