Some questions about visa application by Yasmine from England

Hi I am a UK resident with booked flights to china next June for 5 weeks stay in Beijing, Shanghai and then Hong Kong.

I plan to apply for a Tourist L - however may be undertaking some work experience when in China (which will be unpaid), Do I need to apply for another kind for this?

Also when would you advise I make the application, is now too soon?

Thanks

It is not allowed to work if holding a Tourist L, even though it is unpaid. Maybe you can try to apply for a F type. F type is for those who go to China for exchanges, visits, study tours and other activities.

You can apply in around one month in advance.
