About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

confused with 72-hour free transit

Meant to ask the question....I'm getting confused with everything I'm reading....I'm hoping to fly from Hong Kong to Shanghai for 3 days, then to Beijing for another 3 days, then to Hawaii....am I allowed to enjoy the 72-hour free transit in each of these cities or do I have to pick one?

Hi, only if you transfer in one mainland city of China, can you enjoy the 72h visa free policy. So as your case, you cannot use this policy. Instead, if you have to apply for transit visa in advance if your transfer duration is more than 24h in each of them.
