Transit Visa Required or 72 Hours VISA free transit is applicable in my case?

I am an Indian passport holder. Going India via Shanghai and Kunming. Staying in Shanghai around 25 hours and in Kunming around 15 hours (total stay in China is less than 72 hours). I need to apply for a transit type or 72 Hours type free transit is applicable in my case. Thanks a lot in advance.
