About:China Tourist Visa

Duration of stay for in china first time applicant of tourist visa?

Hello everyone,
My friend from Shanghai who's also my sponsor for this trip already booked me a roundtrip plane ticket (Nov.24-Dec 20)
But I haven't applied my L type yet because I received his documents just this friday, Nov 14, and I'm planning to go to the embassy tomorrow, Nov 17 monday. Do you think guys I will be approved? Because I'm afraid that I'll be denied by the Embassy because of more than 3 weeks stay in the city. I'm not sure if this applied to L type. Please help me.

Divine, it depends on the consular officers. They have the final say. Sometimes, those who prepare all required documents are rejected. Please do not worry too much. You won't have a L type if you don't submit your application. If you submit your application, you still have 50 percent opportunity.
