Hı,2 stop (Double stop) Transit in China-Is Chinese Visa needed?

Im Australıan I will be traveling with China Southern from Turkey to Australıa via Urumqı and Guangzhou. Since Urumqı to Guangzhou is domestic,
23 hour stop ın Uqrumqı Aırport and 23 hour stop ın Guangzhou aırport total 48 hour stop,

I have already contacted China consulate, and have received conflicting/confusing answers so far. Some of them have said not needed, some said needed, some said not sure, and some of them asked me to contact aırport...!!!

Please share your experience/feedback Thanks in advıce...

Since you will make transfer in two Chinese airports, you need to have a Transit G in advance to make the transfering. You are unable to enjoy either 72-hour or 24-hour free transit.
