About:

Is there a bus from Chengdu to DaoCheng ?

I would like to go to Yading,Daocheng from CD city, i'm not sure there is a bus go there or i have to hire taxi to get there, we have 8 people

Hi, there is one direct bus from CD Xinnanmen Bus Station to Daocheng. It leaves at 10:00 and the bus fare is CNY257. The duration may last around two days and all passengers have to stay for a night at Kangding. After getting to Daocheng, I remember no direct bus service is available, so you have to rent a van to reach.

As you have eight people in your group, I would suggest you rent a van at CD city directly. The average cost for a van is around CNY2,000.
