5km run great wall /beijing november 2014

Question

I will be in Beijing in late November.  Which section of the Great Wall will have the least amount of tourists at this time?  I would like to have enough room to run a 5km stretch of the Great Wall?  Where would I have the best ability to accomplish this run?  What should I expect to pay for taxi or private driver and all fees associated with this run?  Thanks!

Aussie, I think Jinshanling or Mutianyu section are good. Jinshanling is a bit dangerous and steep than Mutianyu. Simatai is too dangerously steeper so that I don't think it's a good place for you to run. So you may go to run on the Mutianyu section. It costs at least CNY 600 to hire a private driver for your to accomplish your running on the wall.
