About:2025 / 2026 / 2027 Public Holiday Calendar

Does China require by law workers be PAID their 11 legal holidays? Or just given those 11 days off?

Don, they usually spend their holidays. If they are required to over-work, they will be paid three times as much per day.

My company is pretty mean and we only get the 11 legally required days off...but yes we do get paid for them and can take days later to replace the lost weekly rest days.

The government (at least in Beijing) has created several English language websites to help foreigners understand the laws better (SAFEA always stated it was our responsibility to know our rights...not that of the sponsor to inform us).
