About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I tried to get a Hong Kong visa for my Filipino helper at China embassy in Singapore

they told me it would take a few months and suggested me to go to Hong Kong to do it. Will anyone knows how long it will take in Hong Kong?

If you are a foreigner who want to hire a helper when you are in HK, your qualification of hiring a helper needs to be checked and this process takes around 6 weekings.
After that you can apply for a permit for your helper in HK and the processing time is around 10 working days.
