About:Sichuan Travel

How much time and method of transportation in Sichuan

In late December / January we want to do the following route: Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong - Mount Qingcheng - Chengdu - Leshan - Mount Emei. Is the weather okay for that? How much time should we spend everywhere? (So how much time will this trip take in total?) Can we use buses for all destinations? (or should we fly some parts?) Any recommendations to skip or add places on this trip?

Your plan is fine. The weather is ok, but it would be a little bit cold at that time. So you may prepare some thick clothes. For the travel time, Jiuzhaigou may need about 3 days, Huanglong half day, Mount Qingcheng one day, Chengdu for 2 days, Leshan for one day, Mount Emei for 2 days.

Considering the transportation time together, you may need 10 days. You can use bus for all destinations, but it will take you a lot of time.

But from Mt. Qingcheng, you can take a high-speed train to Chengdu instead. it takes 40-60min.
