About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I require a transit visa in Guangzhou Baiyun airport for a 4 hour layover?

Hello there,
I'm a Malaysian citizen holding a Malaysian passport. I am heading to Los Angeles, USA with a 4 hour transit at the Guangzhou Baiyun airport. I am not planning to leave the airport area.

Amie, you needn't apply for a transit type because you enjoy 24 hours free transit at the airport.
