About:Chinese Names

How would the mother of a very important person address her son in public?

By given name or title? In business I typically see a surname Zhu suffixed with gong (Hi Zhugong). What is the reverence of this? In Australia, do I greet a person who's name is "Duk Woo Kim" as "Duk" or "Kim"?

The mother usually addresses his son by the given name if the given name has two Chinese characters. If there is one character, mother usually calls the full name.
For instance, if the name is Zhang Yang, mother will call Zhang Yang directly. If it is like Yang Shasha, mother will call Sha Sha or sometimes Yang Shasha.
