Can I left China without my friend?

Hi!
If I have L visa, can I left China more early than my friend?
We have only a paper, nothing in passport.
I have to left China in few days and he can not come with me, because have other plans than me.

You apply the L with your friend together and is it a Group type?
If so, you need to change your Group type to an individual one at local PSB and then you can exit China.
