what plug pin adapter to bring

I'm a little confused which plug pin to bring. I am traveling from USA. Only visiting the main land, not HK. What type of plug pin should I bring? Two round prong pin and a Australian/NZ plug pin adapters?

Katherine, the plug used in mainland China, HK and US are different. You need to buy one all-purpose plug adapter from the super market and then you can use it in almost countries in the world.

A Chinese standard socket has two pins on the upper part and earthed three pins on the lower part. The three pins are very similar to that used in Australia. Actually, there is a photo on this page. You can find out easily how Chinese socket looks.

If you are still unsure which one you should choose, I think you needn't take any of them. Most hotels provide plug adapters. Or you can visit any supermarket to buy an adapter when you are in China.
