last visited china would i have had a visa in october 2000

i have been asked on my forms for chinese visa for visiting china in march 2015 with fred olsen cruise. if i have been to china before. i went in october 2000 for Beijing Marathon. I have my old passport but because we went as large group, passport was not stamped and i can't remember if i had one

Wesie, if you have been there before, I think you should check Yes because China Immigration Department can figure out your record easily. I personally don't think it's a problem. But you'd better bring your old passport in case they require your old one.
