Walk from where you are to Beixiaojie Kou station to take bus no. 10 and get off at Beishan Market. Then you can easily walk to the temple. Actually, there is around 2.7mi between, so you can aslo take a taxi to reach exactly.

North mountain temple is reached by walking north from the bottom of Changjiang lu. Bus 66 wil take you there. Walk under the railway, turn left through the area of builders merchants, turn right towards a black marble Christian church with two spires and you will see the temple. At present some of the lower temples are open but the main staircase to the higher temples and caves is closed for renovation. However if you walk along the canal to the west you will see a bridge, some new buildings and a staircase that takes you right to the top. The first part is hard going but it eases of higher up with interesting look-out points. Good luck.
