Take a long-distance bus from Taining to Yingtan first. Then you can easily transfer to either a bus or train to Shangrao.1

How long is the bus ride from Taining to Yingtao? Another way to get from Taining to SR city is to take the train from Taining to Nanchang and then another train to SR. Is this better than taking the bus to Yingtao and from there to SR?

The bus ride is about 3 hours. From Yingtan North Railway Station, there are direct bullet trains to Shangrao, you do not need to transfer. The travel time is about 30 mins, and the fare is CNY46.5 for the second class seat, CNY78 for the first class seat and CNY146.5 for the business class.
Yes, the train is better than the bus, it is faster and the train schedule is dense.0
