I have been appointed by UN for post in Bejing.I am about to start working on 15th January 2015. So what kind?Thanks & best regards  Zarko

Since you are appointed by UN, so the situation may be different from getting a work in China. You are suggested to consult the UN for knowing the real process. In general, if you get a job in China, you can get a Work Permit and an invitation letter from your Chinese employer. With them, you are possible to apply a Chinese Work Z to work in China.
