About:Chinese Zodiac Compatibility

confused, what is my zodiac sign?

When I'm eating at a Chinese restaurant and they have the animal chart, it's says for 1980 that I'm born the year of the monkey but when I go online and use my birthday year, monah and daY it says I'm born the year of the sheep?

Is your birthday before January 31s? If so then it's the animal before you since the Chinese calendar is thirteen months instead of our inaccurate twelve.
