I am afraid that your parcel might be stuck at the customs. You should keep an eye on your parcel and see if the status will change immediately. Normally, it takes 15 to 30 days to reach India.

Sorry, I have no idea why your item was stuck. However, the customs regulations have been implemented strictly recently. I went to send some clothes to my friends abroad this Monday. The staff of the post office told me that clothes that have metal parts including buttons and zips won't pass the customs check.

I think you may ask help from your sender immediately. He might help you contact China Post to find out why your item was stuck.
