You need to apply for a Tourist/Visit type for visiting HK at least one month in advance.

The following documents are needed to prepare: valid passport, an application form with a round trip ticket, your hotel booking, your round trip ticket and a bank statement (if any).

The fee is around 160HKD for a single entry.
