About:Shanghai Travel

How far is shuttle bus from terminal 1, Shanghai airport. I wanna reach hilton hotel.

Is it easy to go to the airport shuttle bus from Terminal 1. How long does it take to walk ther or is there a transport to go to the bu shuttle .I wish to go to Hilton Hotel in Hua Shan Road. Does the same bus go to Jian'an temple or do I have to change in between. How far is the hilton from Jian'an temple?will I find it easilly?.
Or is it better and easier to take e subway? How far is the subway station from terminal 1. Does the subway line 2 go straight to Jian'an or do I need to change the subway? Thank you in advance.

You can take shuttle bus line 2 at T1 of the airport and get off at Jing'an Temple City Terminal. After getting off, you can walk along West Nanjing Road for around 240yd and turn into Huashan Road. Walk along the road for around 5-8min to find your hotel. It costs CNY25.


If traveling by subway line 2, you have to change to another carriage/train of the same line at Guanglan Road. You can do it in the station, so easy! Upon gettin off at Jing'an Temple station, you can walk along Huashan Road to your hotel.

How long does the subway take from PVG airport T1 to Jing'an temple.i will change at Guanglan station .i will have a small suitcase. My plane reaches at 11 AM. I hope it is not rush hour and is not difficult to take the suitcase in the subway?

It takes 50-60min by shuttle bus line 2 to Jing'an Temple. As you just have a small suitcase, it is fine to take the subway. Upon your arrival, there is no rush hour to worry about. However, it takes around 70min to arrive. The subway fare is CNY7 per person by the way.

Considering all, subway is recommended. It seems that it is closer to your hotel on Huashan Road.
