About:Diqing Travel

Trek to Mingyong Glacier+Yubeng in a day and separate ticket

Hi, I've in mind as below:
- Bus/minivan from Feilai Si to Xidang village
- Xidang village to Mingyong glacier and back
- Xidang village to Xidang hot spring
- Xidang hot spring to Yubeng, overnight

1) I rate myself about 7.5/10 in fitness, will above doable?
2) I read that recently (mid of this year) they introduced separate tickets to each attractions (i.e. Mingyong, Yubeng) instead of single ticket that costs 230Yuan. Is this true?

1. Well done. Your hiking plan is feasible.
2. Buying the combo ticket, you don't need to pay for many times any more. Also you can avoid other extra fee (maybe illegal). Put away your ticket or receipt. If you pay them separately, there is a risk that you will be much overcharged. Thsi is just for your reference.

Thanks for the repl. Actually I think I should go first to Mingyong by bus and start there.
- Mingyong glacier to Xidang (~3hr)
- Xidang village to Xidang hot spring (~1.5hr, or hitch a ride)
- Xidang hot spring to Yubeng, overnight (~5hr)
