Hotels in Mt.Yulong

Yes, there are hotels at the foot of the mountain. The last time I went there I just spent two nights there. Sorry I forgot its name, but you’ll find it easily after you arrive.
Restaurant is available too.
The skiing charges for CNY180 each time I remember. And it costs CNY80 for a coach.

At the foot of the mountain there is store that you can rent warm clothes. You need to pay CNY50 for rental and another returnable CNY100 as guarantee deposit.
You’re suggested to stay in Lijiang and go to the mountain daily, thus you can hang out in Lijaing city in the night.

1. By foothill, I mean the place very close to the foot of the snow mountain.

2-4. I recommend the Yulong Snow Mountain Skiing Resort, which is located at the east foot of the mountain. Nov. to the next March is the best timing to have fun there. It is around 12mi from Lijiang town.

From the town, I suggest you rent a car to the foot of the mountain. Take the Glazier Cable Car to the upper station (Shanzidou peak). After getting off, you can easily spot the skiing resort.
