Duration and expired date

1. I am wondering that how the duration of each time is counted with max 30 days. It is counted from the next day after entry, or right after entry?

Such as, my last entry was on 2/10/2014, so the duration was counted since 3/10/2014 and I can go out China on 1/11/2014. Or, it was counted right since 2/10/2014 and I have to go out China on 31/10/2014?

2. My current M visa is expired on 5/11/2014, so I can enter China on one day before 5/11/2014 and stay 30 days. Such as, I enter on 1/11/2014, and can stay until 30/11/2014. Is it right?

The duration of stay is counted from the next day after entry. For your situation, you can leave on 1/11/2014.

You can enter on 1/11/2014 and stay till 30/11/2014. You just need to enter before the expiring date (the expiring date is included).
