Chengdu Chadianzi to Lixian bus time

How long will it take to get to Lixian from CD city?
Also, where can I purchase bus tickets in advance from?

It will take around 2.5 hours on the way.
There are many long-distance buses at Chadianzi Bus Station.
The official website of the ticket booking service has no English version. You can buy the ticket several days in avance at the bus station. So upon your arrival at CD, just try to get one.

Can you pay for tickets with a foreign Visa card?

Also, if I go to the bus station to buy tickets can I buy tickets for my friends or do they have to be present to purchase them?

As I know, the foreign visa card is unacceptable to pay for the ticket. If you buy the tickets on thge spot, it would be fine to purchase tickets for your friends.
