About:Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria

non-bulgarian applicant but want to apply there

I am a UK citizen. I will be travelling in Bulgaria for two months before my planned trip to china in January 2015. Can I apply for my Chinese visa in Sofia? Thanks

It is possible to apply it in Bulgaria. However, before departing, you are still suggested to contact the local Chinese embassy to confirm.

Have since found out through the consulate that, unless you are a foreigner with Bulgarian residency, you cannot apply for your Chinese permit in Sofia.
