How did the Chinese people transport the bricks to the construction sites?

What did the Chinese people use to treansport the bricks to and from the construction sites of The Great Wall?

According to what I found, brickyards were built not far from the construction sites. Once bricks were done, they were transported to the construction site by horse. Then workers carried the bricks on their back to reach the top of the mountain.
