taichung feng jia & taipei xi men ding

We are travelling to Taiwan next month (Nov 14th to 20th). Is it easy to rent a car to drive around in Taipei? From Taichung High speed rail, which station should we alight to get to the hotel at Xi Men Ding? We need to do a transfer from which MRT station?

Generally, it is easy to rent a car there through an agent or by asking your hotel for help. If you wanna driver on your own, you have to hold an international driving lisence.

You can take a high-speed train from Taichung to Taipei first. Then you can transfer to local MRT and get off at Ximen. Then walk out from exit 6 and you can easily access the Ximending.

By mentioning Feng Jia, do you refer to Fenjia Night Market? If so, there are free shuttle buses from Taichung high-speed station to the market I remmeber. If ride a taxi, the fare is no more than 300NTD.
