About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

CZ304 LHR to Guangzhou arrive 17.50 then CZ305 depart 00.30 to Auckland

1) Can I buy cigarettes in Duty Free to take to NZ?
2) Waiting 6hrs 40 mins - Could we leave the building and if so, where could we visit in this short time and do we need a visa?
3) As international flight to international - Do we have to check in again or collect our luggage?

1. Yes, you can buy cigarettes in GZ in the duty free store, but you should make sure that they are allowed to take into NZ.
2. Counting your check-out time or so, time would be so tight to take a short trip in the city. I would recommend you stay in the airport and wait for your flight. If you really wish to see the city, I suggest you take a taxi to have a general sightseeing at White Cloud Mountain and then get back by taxi.

May I know whether you are from New Zealand? If so, you are qualified for the 72h visa free policy. So no visa is needed if you leave the airport.

3. For your transfer, collecting luggage and reclaiming it is necessary. I heard the airport staff will help you to get the luggage and check them in. So consult the staff about this issue upon arriving.

I see. Then you are still eligible for the 72h visa free policy, so no visa is needed for your transfer. But I wanna remind you that you should apply for a transit permit in the airport. It is very easy to access.

Does anybody know if China Southern provide flight socks from UK to NZ or would we need to purchase ?
