Chinese traditional medicine on the international flight?

Can i take few boxes of Chinese traditional medicine on the international flight? If it is allowed, is there any limit?

Duska, it depends what kind of traditional Chinese medicine you will take and how the customs of your destination deal with Chinese medicine. As I know, some countries don't allow traditional Chinese medicine to enter. If you take herbs, I think you may give up taking it out of China. Many countries don't allow Chinese herbs to enter. If you carry Chinese patent drugs in the containers, I think you have chance to bring them into your destination. You know, it has ingredients on the label. However, you'd better declare them at the customs.
