QUIT MY STUDIES IN CHINA AND LEFT IS MY STUDENT VISA STILL VALID

i have a valid student visa for china which was issued on 18th september 2014 and expires in september 2015. So i left china to study elsewhere and unfortunately i left my luggage at beijing, they have refused to issue my luggage which means i have to return to china. Now will my student type still be valid or not? If I want to return and collect my luggage. or will I have trouble with the government.
