About:Entry Regulations of China

are vitamins, protein powder,tooth paste & deoderient ok to send to my son in Guangzhou China

He is teaching school there, and needed some supplies from Home. Package is in Guangzhou, in customs. Over a week. There was a holiday there Oct 1-7 could this have held the package up.

Yes, the holiday will delay the parcel, because the China Post is off work during those days.

Pat its no problem to send that from Canada, but given that they sell all of this nearly everywhere in China he's probably further ahead buying it there...

Thank you Alex from Canada for your reply. This is very helpful.
I guess we were not sure of the components within the vitamins and goods that
are in stores in China. Different manufacturers etc, compared to Canada.
I have heard that GNC has a store in Hong Kong, which sells all these goods, as it
does here in Canada. And Hong Kong is not too far, from where our son is.

Thank you Sarah....for your reply. This is all new to us,shipping to China.
Now I have another problem. It finally was shipped to his apartment yesterday, he was at
work, now it was re-directed. Where do you think it was re-directed to.
Would it be EMS/China Post, who I assume delivered it?
We told him to contact China Post.
