Question

Having trouble finding a job that is good for my skills and temperament. I do have a temper. I hate backstabbers. I need to deal with these kind of people in a way that doesn't get me in trouble. I say it as I see it. I loved where I worked but just get chewed out for not respecting those who don't respect me. Any advice in how to cope when I run into these people. I am a cook in a small town bar. I am conciencious and clean. Should I stay in the same field? I'm thinking of taking a career aptitude test. I also need to find ways to deal with anger. Any help would be great! Thank

Hi, Steven, I’m quite with you, I had gone through the same experience like you. To deal with this kind of bad people, you cannot just tolerate and swallow your bitterness like always. Sometimes, you need to stand out and fight for yourself. All you to do are to handle your work well so that no one can stir a trouble. You might be a bit sensitive and easy to be angry. Just learn to manage your emotion. If you love cooking, just keep it as your career. If not, go find something may interests you. You will have a smooth career in the near future. So be positive.
