Qinghai Vacations

I am planning to visit this provice beginning of June 2015, From Xian, how shall I travel to Xining ? by train or flight, how much the cost ? Is the best seasons visit Cole Field In Menyuan County, any yellow flowers!

Both train and flight are ok.
If by flight, it would be more expensive but far more time-saving. It takes around 1.5h.
If by train, the fastest train takes 9.5 hours to reach. The ticket price for soft sleeper is CNY312, for hard sleeper is CNY200.

As I heard that the early Jul. is the best time to watch the yellow flowers.
